Myanmar Relief
On May 14, 2023, Tropical Cyclone Mocha (Category 5 storm) struck the coastal areas near the Bangladesh-Myanmar border. The cyclone and the flooding that followed, hit an area of high pre-existing vulnerability, with the majority of people already living as displaced or stateless creating a humanitarian disaster ontop of a preexisting disaster. All 33 Rohingya refugee camps in Cox's Bazar and neighboring Bangladeshi communities were impacted.
100 Indigenous people trained in crisis relief, trauma healing, and gospel sharing.
