On September 8, 2023 at 11:11pm (local time), a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck in Morocco’s High Atlas mountain range. Within 12 hours of the earthquake, Acts of Mercy International had 2 teams on the ground providing assessment and immediate distribution of water, food, and blankets. We are currently in partnership with multiple organizations, bringing aid/relief to towns/villages that are difficult to reach - particularly through the establishment of a distribution center.
