Christmas Backpack Project

Make a Difference This Season: Support the Christmas Backpack Project

We are excited to announce our partnership with Hope Christian Academy in supporting Ukrainian children who have been displaced by the ongoing crisis. Together, we’re filling backpacks with essential school supplies, practical items, and uplifting surprises to bring hope to children in need. This collaborative effort aims to show these children that they are valued and loved by Jesus and His community.

What is the Christmas Backpack Project?

Our desire is for each student to receive a backpack filled with all of their school necessities. These backpacks will be packed with essential school supplies along with a special surprise to uplift and encourage the children.

How Can You Get Involved?

Hope Christian Academy is actively involved in packing these bags, and we are currently seeking financial support to cover the costs of shipping and project expenses to deliver the backpacks to Poland. Every donation counts and makes a tremendous impact in extending our reach to even more children.

About Us

Acts of Mercy International is committed to empowering the Church to lead in times of crisis. Since the war in Ukraine began, we have been dedicated to supporting families affected by the conflict. Together with a local Ukrainian church in Krakow, Poland, we are assisting children who have been forced to leave their homes behind. Through this project, we aim to bring hope, love, and support to these children by providing them with school supplies and messages of encouragement.

Why Ukraine?

The war in Ukraine has caused one of the largest humanitarian crises in Europe in recent history. Millions of families have been displaced, forcing them to leave behind their homes, communities, and in many cases, their loved ones. Children have been deeply affected, losing their sense of security and stability. Many have sought refuge in neighbouring countries like Poland, where they face the challenge of adapting to a new environment while dealing with the trauma of conflict. God has called us to love and support vulnerable people, which is why we are dedicated to helping Ukrainian children.
